Stephanie Wunderlich studied Graphic Design in Augsburg, Germany, where she achieved a master degree in 1990. For a few years she worked an art director in Vienna, Austria, before she decided to leave advertising and to become a freelance illustrator in Hamburg, Germany, where she still lives with her husband and two daughters. Her work appears in magazines, advertising, books, textiles and newspapers. Some of her clients include Stern, Geo, Brigitte, Cosmopolitan, The New York Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review.
Her work has been recognized by Lürzer's Archive, Freistil 1-3, Page Magazine and Art Directors Club Germany.
Her favorite work tools are scissors and glue to create her unique cut paper illustrations.
