Olaf Hajek was born as a Sagittarius at the frontier to Denmark, in the north of Germany. He studied graphic design in Dusseldorf. After his diploma he moved to Amsterdam, where he started to work as a freelance illustrator. since 1994 he is living in Berlin working for international clients like Apple, United Airlines, Macys, the New Yorker, the Rolling Stone, Playboy, National Geographic, Plan Sponsor and many more. Olaf is represented in the US, the UK, France, Germany and Japan.
Last year Olaf was invited to take part at the ILLUSTRATIVE BERLIN, the leading art forum showcasing contemporary illustrative art.(www.illustrative.de), which second show was held in September 2007 and will be shown in Paris in November 2007. Olaf is just taking part at an group exhibition in Buenos Aires.
