Flavio Morais was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil, where he began to work as an illustrator for a Silkscreen Studio. He then he moved to London and attended an Art and Design course at Chelsea School of Art and finally ended up in Barcelona, Spain where he currently lives and works for press, editorial and advertising. Some of his works include TV animations, installations and mural paintings done for clients such as: La Vanguardia, El Pais, El Mundo, Avui, Once, Saatchi & Saatchi, Thompson, Canal +, Spanish TV, Italian TV, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola (USA), Cafe Ducados, Sampaka, Cocktail Bar Negroni, Restaurant Spin (Shangai), Abril Editorial (Brazil), etc.

Apart from commisioned works he also has had several individual exhibitions in Spain, Brasil and Paris.

He has a special love for the popular culture made in Africa, Bahia, Mexico and works done by people without any knowledge of Art, art-brut and outsider art.

Music keeps him alive ... turn the music off and there will be no more Flavio Morais!
