The career of Robin Zingone has been a winding one. Starting in art school at Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris, she went onto to working in ad agencies and design studios as a production artist, working up to designer, art director, and creative director...all along doing assignment illustration for clients including American Express, Microsoft, New York Times and many more. After moving from New York to Connecticut, Zingone turned to illustration full time, but after 9/11, when the world turned upside down, she decided to start licensing her work for products. Her colorful images and chic patterns are hand-drawn to retain the mistakes that make it special, then brought into Illustrator and fluffed up to attract clients including Mattel, Target, Hallmark...an endless list. When she finds some down time, Zingone still paints, designs her jewelry line and ponders whether you can be called a workaholic if you absolutely love what you do everyday.
