Kevin Dart is a freelance illustrator from Southern California. Born to an Air Force family, he got to travel all around the world as a youngster to places like Greece, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. After college he pursued a short-lived career as a video game artist before becoming a full-time illustrator. Since then he has done work for companies like Pixar, Disney TV, LAIKA, Cartoon Network Europe, Gama-Go, and Passion Pictures. He is proudest of his background painting work on the BBC "Monkey" commercial for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Currently he is preparing to release a new book, Seductive Espionage: The World of Yuki 7. The book collects posters, album covers, and production stills from a series of imagined 1960's spy films starring his character Yuki 7, a sultry Japanese secret agent. The book will be released on July 3rd at Gallery Nucleus.
