Vincent Mathy is an illustrator who lives at the Belgian border between Liège and Maastricht. After studying "Bande Dessinée" at the St-Luc Institute in Brussels, he becomes passionate about visual communication in the broad sense of the term and about children illustration in particular. His work is a mix of traditional and digital techniques. He develops an simple and sensible style where every stroke has its own importance. For the last six years he has been working in an isolated house in the country where he loves to see the nature change with the passing seasons.
He produced about 30 children books, also creates posters and flyers, illustrates magazines articles and ads. He recently took to ceramics.
