Influences/Inspiration
It's hard to pinpoint exactly from where inspiration comes, it's usually strikes a bit delayed. much like with lightning, you see the flash, but the boom is sometimes long after.

Drawing with my son... all of these could be about my son... I really like being in the same room as him. drawing... plain and simple drawing. rain and snow, really long walks, silence, my wife.

Peter M. Hermann was born in Denmark, in 1974. He received his art education at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in the USA, and at Designskolen Kolding in Denmark. He has worked as a freelance illustrator for 8 years, his clients include: Red Herring, The Progressive, Financial Times Magazine, Detroit Home, Amnesty Denmark. For the past 2 years he has been a regular contributor to the danish newspaper Kristeligt Dagblad. In 2005 he won second place in the Altpick Awards for best commissioned illustration. He hopes to continue being blessed with interesting assignments, and to finally have the time to start a graphic novel that's been in the planning stages for far too long.
