Brook Slane is a fine artist, illustrator, and designer who recently graduated from The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Though he majored in illustration, and planned on creating illustrations for editorial or advertising use, his career has taken a different path. Currently, he designs clothing and print materials for a shirt collection - several of his designs are sold in high-end boutiques and luxury department stores. In addition, he creates small painted works, generally oil on wood, which have recently been shown at "Art Chicago" and at the "John Michael Kohler Arts Center" in Wisconsin.
