Mike Bertino was raised in San Diego California and now lives in Pasadena, where he is attending Art Center College of Design, working towards his BA in illustration. He began xeroxing and stapling his first minicomics at 15, and in 2002 selfpublished a 4 part series of minicomics called Trigger, which collectively sold over 4000 copies in San Diego alone. He's shown in several small galleries, in both solo and group shows. Mike has also done a hand full of weekly newspaper covers including Fahrenheit Magazine and the Pasadena Weekly. He lives with his cat, Nico, and thinks entirely too much, almost retardedly so, about one very sweet girl.
