Lorena Siminovich grew up in Argentina and loved to doodle since she was very young. After studying graphic design and fine art, she opened her Design firm in Buenos Aires where she designed lots of projects from books to post stamps. In 2001 she moved to New York, where she worked as an Art Director creating fun stationery and puzzles for Galison and Mudpuppy.
In 2006 she moved to San Francisco, and now divides her time between art direction and illustration. Lorena works in a great studio with a garden in the Mission district. She is currently working in several children's books, the first one to be released in Spring 2008.
