Welcome to Episode 29.
In this three part series I talk to the Illustrator Chris Sickels a.k.a Rednose Studio. We start out the conversation talking about his background on the Indiana farm, and then how Chris found Illustration, and many other great topics on this episode of ICONIC. Introduction: A farm boy from Winchester Indiana, Chris Sickels, is lucky enough to have a mother that encouraged drawing and the pursuit of the unknown; and a father that respected what Chris is am passionate about.
Landed his first illustration commission in 1995 and officially started Red Nose Studio in 1999.
The endearing characters and intricate sets of Red Nose Studio 3-D illustrations draw the viewer in with wit, intelligence and charm. His work has appeared in advertising, magazines, newspapers and character development. Clients include Business Week, The New York Times, MTV, Family Fun, Maxim, Fast Company, Red Herring, How, Village Voice, Momentum Inc, and Nickelodeon. His work has been honored by The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Print, How and CA, and his work has been featured in How, Print, 3x3 and Creativity magazines.
