There's too much going on with the origional, doesn't scan very well. I really don't care what/who the "Featured Artist" is unless it happens to look like somethiing I'm interested in. It's easier to bypass something I'm not interested in and skip to something I DO like on the Simple Blog format. In fact, I've NEVER liked the original format for IllustrationMundo's home page. It seems like I always see the same stuff and the same people. I even stopped comng to the site for a while because I got tired of it... and I really, really, really, want to see sites about art and illustration. I found Michael Slack's "My Life as a Chicken" on the Simple Blog format yesterday. Is he on the home page? No. Who's on the homepage? Mostly the same people I saw several months ago when i all but stopped visiting. And there is MORE cool stuff posted today! NOW I will be visiting much more often. So thanks for that. I'm not so sure about the poll though, it looks kinda hanging on the upper right side.
